THE CONTRABANDITZ & I

Botswana has been developing in most industries. Although many will differ on issues such as costs of living and unemployment. The one thing I feel grateful for is the advancement of the arts. The Contrabandits are now currently my favourite fusion band and are making a splash on the local music scene with their Spoken Word-infused music.  

 

A special treat has been being their photographer at events such as Mascom Live Sessions and Brand-Your-Braii that featured Freshly Ground and Oliver Mtukudzi. Watching them grow has been a pleasure, as they tackle everyday life and manage to make it to the stage in the evening. They have been an incredible inspiration to me and their hardwork seems to be paying off.
